Ida Nielsen & Band @ Jazz Dock, Praha

Od roku 2010, kdy ji pozval v Minnesotě na jam session, až do jeho předčasného konce, byla Ida Kristine Nielsen členkou kapely legendárního zpěváka a multiinstrumentalisty Prince! Připojila se ke kapele The New Power Generation a vyrazila na téměř dvouleté turné. Ida popisuje hraní s touto legendou jako největší hudební zážitek, který ji ovlivnil na léta dopředu. Vydala se na sólovou dráhu s originálním mixem old-school funku, hip-hopu a reggae. Základem všeho je samozřejmě neskutečný basový groove hlavní protagonistky a také instrumentální výkony excelentních spoluhráčů.

Since 2010, when invited to a jam session in Minnesota, until its premature end, Ida Kristine Nielsen was a member of the legendary singer and multiinstrumentalist Prince! She joined the band The New Power Generation and set off on a nearly two-year tour. Ida describes playing with this legend as the greatest musical experience that has influenced her for years to come. She has performed on a solo track with an original mix of old-school funk, hip-hop and reggae. The essence of everything is, of course, the unbelievable bass groove of the main protagonist as well as the instrumental performances of excellent teammates.
